A home fit for royalty
Cucina Regina is relaxed yet elevated, nostalgic and new all at once. A collection of spaces which play on elements found in grand Italian palazzos and seaside villas, form the venue.
On entry, guests are greeted by a barrel vaulted structure and custom spun metal pendant. Coloured and textured glass integrated into the shopfront bathes the space in dappled, golden light, regardless of the weather. Banquettes have been designed as exaggerated lounges, to accommodate long lunches paired with classic timber and gloss finish tabletops.
Fresh whites and creams are utilised to create a neutral base for an eclectic mix of upholstery fabrics, bold hand-painted murals, drapery and decorative lighting. A curated selection of art and objects provides an additional layer of personality and whimsy whilst creating a lived-in aesthetic. Patterned flooring, grand archways, antique mirror, metallic wallpaper and brass accents amp up the drama and give nod to the Italian palazzos which inspired the design of Cucina Regina. The lively and decadent private dining room is a rich layering of materials; moire patterned drapery and brass, housing a collection of art and objects.
